Image Uploading Tutorial
Uploading pics is a breeze - follow these quick steps to get started!

First, log in to your account at http://www.imagecave.com. If you don't have an account, sign up for a free membership at http://www.imagecave.com/signup.asp.

Next, look for the "Add Pictures" link in the main menu. Click this link to go to the uploading form.

There are 8 "slots", each of which lets you upload one photo. You can upload up to 8 photos at a time if you use all 8 slots. ImageCave.com accepts GIF, BMP, PNG, and JPG formats.

The browse button next to each slot will load a browsing/choosing dialog which lets you find the image file on your computer. Once you locate the image to upload, double-click it, or click it once and use the browsing dialog's Okay/Open button.

If you've created any subfolders in your account, you can also choose an album at this point. By default all uploads go into the "root" of your account.

When you're done choosing photos to upload, click the Upload Pictures button on the "Upload From your Computer" form.

After the uploading is complete, you'll get a report that shows you the status and size of each image uploaded.

This report will show any optimizing that was done with oversized images, as well any any files rejected. Non-image files will not be saved.

Click the link that says "click here to return to your album" to continue, and you'll return to your album's control panel.

The images you just uploaded will be presented in your album's control panel.

For use on other sites, like eBay, you'll want to use the "HTML" line. Click once on the line of code, and the whole line should highlight automatically. You'll want to "copy" this code to add the image to another site or eBay's "Sell Your Item" form. To Copy, simply press CTRL-C when the code is highlighted. This moves this code to your clipboard, a temporary storage space in your computer.

To "paste" the code onto another site or web form, just place your cursor where you want the code to go, and press CTRL-V. The contents of your clipboard will be inserted starting at the cursor's location.

Note: to use these codes in your eBay listings, use the "Enter Your Own HTML" version of the Item Description box!

You're done! Repeat and rinse!
